Garage heater
« on: January 01, 2007, 10:31:23 PM »
Does anyone have a recommendation for a heater that can be used in an open garage?  I have one of those big heaters you see for outdoor restaurant seating.  It's in the back yard though so it's not very mobile.  I would prefer and electric heater cable of keeping the garage moderately warm.
Do you like mochi?

Hi cam.  Any target or walmart etc should have small space heaters.  They do a pretty good job of heating up small rooms and the like, but if you leave the garage door open then it might not Retain the heat long enough to be effective.

Yeah, I agree that an electric space heater should do the job if its for your garage.

When I lived in N.Y. we used to use kerosene heaters. It would be like 10 degrees out but we would get the garage to around 80. But the cement floor was always still cold!

Cammie, may I say that I love seeing all of your posts that deal with getting warm, staying warm, how to get warm, etc.  Heated vests, heated grips, heated garages..it's all about comfort, ain't it?  :)

My wife, Steph, is about as concerned as heat as you, but not quite as motivated or creative...yet.
