I think Agatha's bike is due for valve and CCT adjustments, but this sounds like a huge pain in the arse. It took this guy 5 hrs, and he knows what he's doing!

Westcoast is asking for $320 for major service. Of course, they won't discount for stripping out normal maintenance like oil & filter, plugs...which I just did a couple of weekends ago
. Any good alternatives in the LA area? I'm not confident in Polo's help these days.

I've always had good service at North Hollywood Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki. You could try calling them for a quote. Albert the service manager is pretty cool.
