Yah, I could not believe how much that guy didn't know about motorcycles. He gave me a spiel about how he's been riding for 25 years and he knows bikes. But the fact that he's willing to let mechanics inspect and ride it tells me he's not intentionally concealing anything.
I didn't have a chance to go look at it. Hopefully, I'll get a chance this upcoming weekend if it's still around. As far as other bikes go, there's plenty. I've made the decision to avoid the Italian bikes, it's hard to justify when the Japanese bikes are half the cost or lower.
There are plenty of deals out there, especially in the 600 class. But I'd just like to try a liter bike. I know it's total overkill, but if you think about it, so are 600's. I'm really leaning towards the R1, but this Gixxer is so darn nice. If it sells, oh well, I'll just keep on looking.
