What's up everyone?  Anyone ride lately?  April and Jim, are you guys going to NV in two weeks still?

I think Jim and April did a crazy ride up north recently.  I snuck out last Saturday for a little bit but that was it.  Might do something tomorrow, I'll post up later.

As for a track day, whaddya got in mind?

Well, I went to ride into work this morning only to find my practically brand new rear Q2 flat.  I found the culprit - a small piece of metal, possibly a nail, right in the middle of the tread.  I think this time i really will just patch it considering the age of the tire and since it won't be on the track.

No we are not going to NV now, I'm planning to do it in the fall.

We did like 650 miles last weekend, up to Big Sur, stayed on Moonstone beach in Cambria. It was an amazing ride, I think April will try to put some pictures up.

We did the Big Sur trek this past weekend. Tire Slime saved the trip!

This was in Santa Margarita, at the end of the 58. I think you can see my tire going flat in this shot. I picked up a bad leak right there, it was a cut so it couldn't be plugged. Jim went down the road to get a bottle of tire slime. Luckily it held otherwise we would have been kind of stuck.

And just for Ray...

I can't go out that way without stopping in Pismo for Cinnamon rolls. The chocolate, caramel, oreo one was ridiculous.

So the the answer to the question is, yes we have been riding.

At this point we are planning on Pahrump in the fall.
