Laguna?

You told us you were going and had some good seats.

So how was it?

Great weekend.  Seats were in the tall T4 grandstands and we also had Flag Room passes, paddock passes and hill parking.  The Flag Room was pretty nice... big covered canopy with lots of tables and TVs inside, overlooking the straight between T4 and T5.  Food was nothing spectacular but they had unlimited beer.  :owned  I'll post more stuff later but I'd definitely do that again.  I must have taken about 1200 photos, with the one of Nicky in Rainey Curve I posted above being one of the best (most were crappy haha).

Sounds great! I'm jealous.
I need the sunshine in the morning, I'm heading for the open road.

Here are some more pics.  If anyone wants the huge hi-res originals just let me know.  It was admittedly an expensive weekend but I'd consider doing it again.  Having the huge TV screen was a must so I could see what was happening on the other parts of the track, and now the scoring tower even has a widescreen monitor on top.  The only thing that puzzled me was the almost complete lack of official Nicky Hayden and Ben Spies gear.  Of course there was plenty of Rossi stuff, and a Spanish company was running multiple booths of good quality official Pedrosa and Lorenzo gear.  At least I was able to get a poster signed by Nicky for my brother.  ;D

Almost forgot my pic w/ Earl Hayden.  Totally cool guy and Nicky's mom was in the back behind the counter.  I have no idea why I thought it was a good idea to wear that straw hat though.

Nice pictures!

Oh and I'm glad you were protecting yourself from the sun, even if your hat choice was a little unfortunate...

Great pics and vids, Ray.  I particularly like the hat, I think it suits you!  Go with it ...

I was wondering if you guys had made it up there this year - kudos on the first class style-e

I can't believe Pedrosa crashed - how tragic.  Lorenzo is going to take it this year for sure.

Still it was a great race - Rossi is amazing.  Stoner had a solid race, as did Spies, Hayden and even Edwards.  It was comedy that the young European riders in MotoGP all crashed out.   :owned
