BIKE NIGHTS

images are kinda blurry since i didn't use the right flash settings. DOH!

i went to 2 bike night locations... one in the valley and one in hollywood. the one on hollywood is huge... it's like a convention each week.

VALLEY BIKE NIGHT!

MV agusta

bling'ed CBR, it's shiny, i just messed up the pic

cool aprilia

we decided to go to the hollywood bike night... we took a canyon road, damn! canyon riding at night is a whole new world.

HOLLYWOOD BIKE NIGHT! ... it's like a sea of bikes out there.

this ninja has moving green lights all over the bike (i should have taken a vid instead). very flashy indeed. i might go riding w/ the owner of this bike on sunday to the MC show.

this was very interesting indeed.

I have a preconceived notion that bike nights always look like a squid fest...   is that accurate or is my impression totally off?  I've never been to one but always been curious.

Careful of canyons at night.  I've only been on one canyon ride at night (moonlight memorial ride) and someone whacked a deer.

there are squids. (people w/ not enough gear)

but most of the people i've seen have jackets, gloves, and helmet, and probably MC boots as well.

i didn't go to the stunt part since im tired and worried about getting a ticket, which you can get even as a spectator.

Not all bike nights are created equal, depends on who is running the show.

Hollywood bike night is by far the sketchiest. Hundreds of bikes every week. They have been kicked out of a bunch of locations. Last year the Fatburger location was shut down fast because of gangs (with cars, not bikes) showing up with guns. I think they are on the verge of getting booted from this lot.
I need the sunshine in the morning, I'm heading for the open road.
