7/15/06 long beach bike show.

7/15/06

long beach bike show...

there were mostly custom choppers and cruiers... i only took pics of those that appealed to me but there are a lot over there.


parking lot... my bike looks like an alien.




inside the show...
















my bike on the dyno... it was very disappointing.





overall, i spent $50 for everthing... it's cool to see at least once but i don't see myself going back there next year.

Cool pics.

The dyno is good because now you have a base line. Its amazing the difference between what the OEM claim and what it actually is at the wheel.
I need the sunshine in the morning, I'm heading for the open road.

nah... it's not a good test when i asked around. it's not accurate.

some said that the dyno test on shows like that are a rip off... they don't prepare the bike and run it the right way. no wonder it's only $20.  :(

Even so, I would assume that it'll give you a decent estimate of what you're running at the wheels.
